As of November 30, 2016, our agency’s new name is AssuredPartners of Texas. Although doing business under a new name and brand, our staff continues to be driven by the same superior service, customer-oriented philosophy and entrepreneurial spirit upon which our agency was built.  Our focus is steadfast:  to safeguard our customers’ assets from financial loss, and identify areas where loss can be prevented, mitigated and controlled. This is our ongoing duty.

In July of 2016 we became an AssuredPartners agency, joining one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage firms in the United States. This merger brings financial strength, significantly more insurance carrier relationships and national resources to our existing and prospective clients. As the 12th largest independent insurance broker in the nation, AssuredPartners has more than 140 offices in 30 states as well as a London presence.

Our roots date back to 1987 when the Larry Allen Insurance Agency was founded in Plano, Texas. Mr. Allen’s mission to deliver high quality, affordable insurance solutions for the residential homebuilder community hasn’t faltered, but it has expanded throughout the years. 

In 2002, we became LegacyTexas Insurance Services, the insurance arm of LegacyTexas Bank and expanded into a full service broker. Since then we have delivered customized, cost effective insurance and risk management solutions for individuals, businesses and organizations. Our breadth of products include all commercial property and casualty coverages, health insurance for employer groups and a range of personal insurance coverages, such as homeowners, auto, life and more.

While we serve nearly all industries, our specialization includes commercial and residential construction, commercial real estate, manufacturing and distribution, education and restaurants.
