  • Paul Fredette
    President

    A seasoned insurance veteran, Paul has served on the board of directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas, and currently serves on IIAD's Insurance Employment Services Board. He’s also served on the board of directors of several not-for-profit organizations, including Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Kiwanis, Character that Counts and the Miss Oklahoma Scholarship Pageant. Paul previously served on the board of a publicly owned corporation and is a graduate of Leadership Tulsa.

    Paul has established administrative systems and procedures, created and implemented sales and growth strategies and cultivated carrier partner and client relationships.   • Mark McGuffin
    Vice President

    Mark has protected business owners since 1991. Prior to joining LegacyTexas Insurance, he led life insurance agencies in Dallas and Fort Worth and was a sales executive at a local independent agency.

    Mark has served on several construction and contractor associations, such as Air Conditioning Contractor’s Association, Dallas and Fort Worth Homebuilder Associations and Certified Master Builder Corporation. He has also served on several not-for-profit organizations, including Bill Glass Prison Ministries Finance team.   • Jeannie Beem
    Assistant Vice President

    Jeannie specializes in personal insurance for home, valuable collections, auto, liability umbrella, recreational vehicle and watercraft.

    Prior to joining AP Texas/ LegacyTexas Insurance, Jeannie was an account manager for the Larry Allen Insurance Agency in Plano, Texas. LegacyTexas purchased the Larry Allen Insurance Agency in 2002.

  • Angel Fitts
    Assistant Vice President

    Angela (Angel) joined the agency in January 1997. She is the accounting manager for AP of Texas and is responsible for all aspects of accounting.

    Angel is active in the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Association of North Texas, and served as the former president of the local Applied Users Group in North Texas.

    She holds a BBA degree in Office Information Systems Management from Northeast Louisiana University, and her Property and Casualty insurance license. Angel has also obtained the CISR designation through The National Alliance for Insurance and the ACSR designation through IIAT.

    She resides in Plano, which she has called home for the past 18 years. Angel has both a 25-year-old daughter and son. Contact her at afitts@aptexas.com. 

  • Charlie Fletcher
    Vice President

    Charlie is a sales executive and vice president at AP of Texas. Prior to joining the predecessor agency, Legacy of Texas, he was in sales for the Larry Allen Insurance Agency in Plano, Texas. Larry Allen was a leading homebuilder agency that was purchased by Legacy Bank in 2002.

    Charlie has also been a property and casualty underwriter with various insurance companies, including Maryland Casualty, Zurich Insurance and General Accident Insurance.

    He currently serves on the board of directors for the North Dallas/Collin County division of the Homebuilders Association of Dallas as well as the board for the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Association of North Texas. Contact Charlie at cfletcher@aptexas.com.

  • Aaron Zetterower
    Vice President, Sales Executive

    Aaron Zetterower, a seasoned insurance executive, has focused the last 15 years of his career on two things: Reducing cost of insurance through innovative strategies, and making the process easy and streamlined. After starting life as a forester, he quickly found his calling for insurance and began underwriting and working in loss control for the logging industry.

    After earning an OSHA designation, Aaron moved on to the brokerage side of the business and began developing industry specific programs that relieve companies of repetitive work and bring specialized policies to them at an affordable cost.

    He has worked for and insured some of the largest companies in the world, before deciding to fill a void in an underserved industry niche: charter schools. Over the past 10 years he has worked hard to bring savings and peace of mind to school leaders across the country.

    Aaron enjoys hunting fish and waterfowl, and boating when they’re not biting or in season. He holds a Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation. You may contact Aaron at azetterower@aptexas.com.  

  • Pamela Scofield
    Client Service Practice Leader

    Pamela Scofield serves as practice leader of the Commercial Client Services Department. She has specialized in commercial property and casualty insurance coverages throughout her career. Pamela has serviced a variety of industries and account sizes, from large global, national, risk management to middle market accounts. Prior to joining the agency, she was an account manager for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Dallas. Prior to moving to Dallas, Pamela lived in Anchorage, Alaska where she began her insurance career.

    She has been a member of the National Association of Insurance Women International since 1985. She has served on the board of directors as president, vice president and secretary at the local level for Insurance Women of Anchorage as well as state director of Alaska. After moving to Dallas, Pamela served on the board of directors for NAIW of Dallas, Inc. as president, vice president and treasurer. She earned the Insurance Woman of the Year Award in 1992, when she was recognized by the Governor of Alaska and members of NAIW. She has also been involved with other insurance associations.   Pamela currently serves as Treasurer of International Association of Insurance Professionals of Dalls Forth Worth.

    Her industry designations include CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), CPIW (Certified Professional Insurance Woman), and DAE (Diversified Advance Education). Pamela has also successfully completed the Insurance Institute of America courses INS 21, 22 and 23. Further, she has attended and successfully completed Safeco's Commercial Agent School. She has taken Communicate with Confidence classes through NAIW.   Pamela has also taught classes for the Insurance Institute of America.

    She has resided in Sachse, Texas for the past 13 years. Pamela has one daughter Rachel, two grandchildren, Eva and Theodore and a son-in-law Chad who lives in Vienna. Pamela enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active in church, traveling, skiing, gardening, crafts and helping others achieve their goals. Contact her at pscofield@aptexas.com. 

  • Aaron Schwen
    Vice President, Sales Executive

    Upon graduation from the University of Iowa in 2011, with a finance major and entrepreneurship certificate, Aaron immediately began working for a top 25 commercial insurance brokerage firm as an account manager.  There, he learned the intricacies of insurance, handling all aspects of the renewal process for a senior VP.  He was promoted in 2013 to sales and quickly developed a substantial book of business by reducing overall cost of property and casualty programs and instituting an aggressive and proactive employee benefits strategy for long-term cost reduction.

    He is passionate and involved with School Choice and volunteers as a substitute teacher for after school programs. He is an active member of his church and community, a proud uncle of three, and engaged to the woman of his dreams. Aaron enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, golfing, and all things outdoors. He maintains long lasting relationships with a focus on responsiveness, efficiency, and aims to help clients with their business, far beyond the insurance policy.
